Something not working?
Reina is made by one person, so support is a real inbox rather than a ticket system. Write to support@sovereignty.cc and you will get a person. Most of what people write in about is below, and those answers are quicker than waiting for help.
01 Windows says it does not recognize the app
Expected, and not a sign of anything wrong. Reina has no code-signing certificate yet, because they cost real money for a project with one person on it, and Windows shows an “unrecognized app” warning the first time for any installer whose publisher has not bought one. The warning means Windows does not recognize the publisher, not that it found something wrong with the file. Download Reina only from this site, then choose More info and Run anyway to continue past it. The app installs just for you and needs no administrator password.
02 Reina cannot hear me
Check that Windows has the right microphone set as the default input device, then say the wake word rather than just talking. Reina only listens between wake words if you have turned Continuous Listening on. If Reina still cannot hear you, you can type instead: a typed message goes down exactly the same path as a spoken one, so nothing is lost by using it.
03 Reina cannot use my browser
That needs the browser extension, which is a separate install. Say “set up the browser extension” and Reina will open the listing for you, or open the Extensions tab in the app and press Install. It is on the Chrome Web Store, so it is one Add to Chrome click and it updates itself from then on. It works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Opera. The extension does nothing on its own; it only responds to Reina running on the same machine, so if the app is closed it will look like nothing is happening.
04 Where did my hours go?
The app shows what is left on its own meter. Live commentary is the most expensive thing Reina does, because it runs continuously for as long as it is switched on. Conversation and everyday commands cost a small fraction of it. If a month ran out faster than you expected, that is almost always commentary left running.
Running out never breaks Reina: the cloud side pauses and everything local carries on. See pricing for how the budget works.
05 Where is my data, and how do I remove it?
Your settings, Reina's memories and learned answers live in your own app-data folder, outside the install, so an update cannot overwrite them. Uninstalling asks before it deletes any of it rather than assuming.
What leaves your machine, and why, is set out in full in the privacy policy.
06 Updating, and going back
Reina updates from inside the app. It tells you the version and the size before anything is downloaded, and asks before restarting. One previous version is kept, so if an update makes something worse you can go back to the one before it from the same screen.
What changed in each release is on the patch notes page.
07 Billing, canceling and refunds
Your statement will say Sovereignty LLC. You buy from us directly, so the charge comes from us rather than from a reseller, and that is the name your bank shows. The receipt emailed to you names both Reina and Sovereignty LLC.
Cancel any time, from wherever you subscribed. Downgrading part-way through keeps the month you already paid for, and the free tier is waiting underneath whatever you cancel. The app does not stop being yours.
For anything about a payment, write to support@sovereignty.cc with the email you paid with. Please write before opening a dispute with your bank: a chargeback takes weeks and costs us both, and a refund takes an afternoon. What gets refunded and when is on the refunds page.
08 Anything else
support@sovereignty.cc. Telling me what you were doing, what you expected and what happened instead is worth more than an apology for the length of the message, and if the app has written a log, attaching it usually turns a week of guessing into an afternoon.
One person, so an honest expectation. I read everything. I do not answer everything within an hour, and I would rather say that here than have you wonder whether it arrived. Anything that looks like it is losing you data or money goes to the front of the queue.
