Half of Reina runs free, on your machine.
Reina's voice and body on your desktop, Reina's reactions, a Persona Studio, everyday commands. All of that is local and costs nothing, forever. The subscription is Reina's cloud mind: watching your games and apps with live commentary, doing real work on your PC, and chatting with you on any hardware. And the better your GPU, the more of Reina's mind moves onto your machine, free and private and off the meter.

All prices are in US dollars and are shown before tax. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where the place you are buying from requires it, so the total you agree to may be higher than the figure above; checkout shows it before you pay. Subscriptions are billed to the card you subscribe with and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the same place you subscribed, and keep the period you have already paid for. Refunds are on their own page, and in Section 5.8 of the Terms.
Pay yearly and two months are free: Standard $100, Plus $200, Pro $400 a year. The hour figures above come from measuring real sessions, but they are calibrated estimates rather than a guaranteed number of hours, because what a session costs depends on what you do in it. On a machine that can run Reina's local vision model, they go about a quarter further.
Bring your own keys, $12/month
For tinkerers: the full app on a license, with model usage billed by your own Anthropic and OpenRouter accounts, at their prices, with no markup and no budget from us. You manage your provider accounts and keys; Reina just uses them. If any roll-over credits or top-up credits exist, Reina uses those first before using your own keys. $120/year.
Before any of that
The free tier isn't a trial.
Nothing counts down, and nothing switches itself off. You install Reina, who then lives on your desktop, and that is the arrangement for as long as you want it. The subscription above adds Reina's cloud mind later, if you ever decide you want it.
- No signup. No account, no email, no key. The free tier asks nothing of you at all.
- No clock. Nothing reverts after a week, because nothing was switched on. Day four hundred looks like day one.
- Decide later, or never. Reina's cloud mind is something you add once you already know whether you like Reina, and plenty of people won't need it.
How the budget works
Hours, not tokens. Nights, not meters.
Plus and Pro include a monthly allowance of Reina's cloud time, shown in the app as hours, never as tokens, API dollars, or anything else you'd need a spreadsheet for.
Running out doesn't break Reina
When your daily hours are spent, Reina keeps living on your desktop: voice, character, commands, and local chat for capable GPUs. The cloud side pauses, it never dies, and comes back at midnight in your own time zone.
You are billed for the month, not the minute
The budget is an allowance, not a meter you watch. Most evenings cost well under a dollar, and nothing you don't use is charged twice. There is no per-hour billing, no overage, and no card charged for going over.
A runaway day gets a question, not a wall
If something burns unusually fast, such as a stuck loop or a forgotten commentary session, Reina asks whether to keep going instead of silently draining the month.
The unusual part
Reina gets better as your hardware does
Reina checks what your machine can carry, honestly. The more it can, the more Reina can run locally, free and private and off your budget entirely. No other subscription you have gets better when you upgrade your PC.
A capable GPU unlocks free chat
On a strong graphics card Reina's conversational mind runs on your machine: chat costs nothing, touches no meter, and never leaves your PC. The app tells you the exact memory bar and what your card has.
Your budget stretches further
Everything Reina does locally is something the budget doesn't pay for. The hours counter in the app shows it plainly: when chat is local, it doesn't move at all.
The free tier keeps growing
Reina's local mind is the part of Reina that is worked on hardest. What needs the cloud today is planned to run on your machine tomorrow, and when a piece moves local, it moves into the free tier.
Frequently Asked Questions
Asked and answered
What exactly needs the cloud?
Three things: live commentary (a vision model looks at your screen), real work on your PC (the model that plans and clicks), and chat when your GPU can't carry the local model. Reina's voice, hearing, desktop body, reactions, and everyday commands never touch the cloud at all. Those are local for everyone, free tier included.
Why is chat only free on some PCs?
Free chat means a language model running on your graphics card, and that takes real video memory. The app checks what your card can hold and tells you plainly, including the number you'd need. On machines below the bar, chat runs in the cloud and draws from the budget like everything else.
What happens when my hours run out for the day?
Reina stays on your desktop and keeps doing everything local: voice, character, your commands, and local chat if your GPU carries it. The cloud side pauses until midnight in your own time zone and comes back on its own. Nothing ever turns into a dead app demanding a card.
Is "a game night" a real unit?
It's the honest shorthand for an evening of live commentary plus conversation, the most expensive way to spend an hour with Reina. Casual use (chat and commands, no commentary) costs a small fraction of that, so a chat-heavy month goes several times further than the game night figures suggest. The app always shows the real remaining hours.
What do I need for the bring-your-own-keys tier?
Two API keys from your own accounts: Anthropic (Reina's working mind) and OpenRouter (Reina's speaking voice and vision). You pay those providers directly at their listed prices; we add nothing on top. The trade: it's cheaper than Plus and Pro, but your keys and provider accounts are yours to manage, including their rate limits and billing. It also means your conversation reaches Anthropic under your account, so their acceptable-use policy applies to you rather than to us. On our own tiers your requests run on our provider accounts, so we keep what we send inside those providers' acceptable-use policies. On your own key it is your account and your agreement with them, so we pass your history through as it is and what to send is your call.
Can I cancel or switch tiers?
Anytime, from the same place you subscribed. Downgrading mid-month keeps the month you already paid for, and the free tier is waiting underneath whatever you cancel.
Will prices change?
Maybe someday, but never mid-subscription. A change to a subscription you already have is announced at least 30 days before it takes effect and applies from your next renewal, which is what Section 5.9 commits us to. An annual plan holds your price for the year you have paid for. No silent repricing.
Where are the terms and the privacy policy?
Right here: the Terms of Service (which is also the license for the app) and the Privacy Policy. The short version of the second one: your conversations, your voice and Reina's memories stay on your machine. What leaves is the cloud requests you actually make.
